Ways to Learn Original Jeet Kune Do

Obviously, the best way to learn authentic Jeet Kune Do is through a qualified instructor.  Professor Gary Dill's Jeet Kune Do Association is a wonderful resource for finding quality instruction!

Here is exactly how you can learn Jeet Kune Do:

Directly from Professor Dill
Professor Dill in ActionEither at the Headquarters School or at any of the outstanding seminars Professor Dill offers, you can learn and practice the core, intermediate and advanced techniques of JKD.  The advantage of course is that you're getting it from "the source!"  In fact, there are options that lead to ranking and even Certification as a Jeet Kune Do Instructor (not an easy task - this is NOT a "black belt in 10 easy lessons" deal or a "diploma mill").

From a Certified Instructor of the Jeet Kune Do Association - The Association has instructors throughout the US and Internationally.  They too offer seminars, small classes, study groups, etc. and are often very willing to help students with tasks the student may feel is "difficult" or can't easily figure out on their own.  The advantage here is that many Certified Instructors are also experienced in other martial arts so if you've learned another style or art, they often "speak your language!"

Via Home Study (GREAT OPPORTUNITY) – Not everyone can get to an instructor on a regular basis.  Because Professor Dill wants everyone to have the chance to learn Original Jeet Kune Do, he has recorded lessons on video which is now available on DVD (and coming soon, in the Association's Cyber Kwoon™).  Everything from how to stand and move to the actual techniques and even the history of Jeet Kune Do is covered to the exacting detail Professor Dill is famous for in his private and small group classes.
